Calcium L-aspartate is an organic molecular entity. Calcium aspartate is an organic calcium compound based on L-aspartic acid and is used in calcium supplementation. One of the non-essential amino acids commonly occurring in the L-form. It is found in animals and plants, especially in sugar cane and sugar beets. It may be a neurotransmitter. Calcium aspartate is used as a calcium supplement to develop stronger teeth and bones in children, to delay bone decay associated with osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, osteospurs, fibromyalgia and fatigue. Calcium aspartate and calcium ortate are the best absorbable form of calcium.
